Game Progress

My game is going decent. I have this tittle screen working. I still need to make a few changes to it but this is what I have so far:



I am going to start woring on the game itself soon.

Snow Days

This winter we have had 21 snow days!

This has slowed down our progress in this class drasticly and we have a lot to catch up to. I think if we work hard we can make up our lost time. Hopefully we will have a working project by the end of the year.

Although we wernt at school I worked on a few flash files at home over the break.

Game Development Plan

As we near the start of our game there is much planning to be made. Some of our steps we will take durring our game is increasing our knowledge of Action Script, learning to ceate good looking flash assets, and looking up specifics on how to code specific things like colisions and jumping.

We are going to look into how to incorporte all theese things together so that we can make an awesome game.

Globaloria 2010 News Years Resolution

2009 is over and with a new year comes new promises.

This year I would like to make an effort to learn more in globaloria. Action script is my maon concern. I would like to improov e my knowledge of action script and know how to apply it.

Annother thing I would like to do is work on my projects more at home. I have admobe photoshop CS3 at home and it is very good for the artistic side of flash. It is very easy to improt my creations into Flash with photoshop.

Lastly I think I need to work more on my blog to make it look more appealing to your eyes.


I will do my best to do the things listed above. I am looking forward to the day where I get to present my finished game

Mid Term Survey

When I took the mid term survey from globaloria I was suprised by how close the questions related to me. The questions were very easy to answer because they were very closely related to the things we have already done this year.

Action Script

As the year moves on we are preparing to start out game project. We will need to know many action script coding strings.

I think the minigame has helped prepare us for coding. Already I have memorised some lines of code that can be used in games. We will have to look up how to do certain things in our games on the internet.

I have found that the Adobe Comunity is a great place to ask questions about coding.

I look forward to completing our game.
