Globaloria 2010 News Years Resolution

2009 is over and with a new year comes new promises.

This year I would like to make an effort to learn more in globaloria. Action script is my maon concern. I would like to improov e my knowledge of action script and know how to apply it.

Annother thing I would like to do is work on my projects more at home. I have admobe photoshop CS3 at home and it is very good for the artistic side of flash. It is very easy to improt my creations into Flash with photoshop.

Lastly I think I need to work more on my blog to make it look more appealing to your eyes.


I will do my best to do the things listed above. I am looking forward to the day where I get to present my finished game

Mid Term Survey

When I took the mid term survey from globaloria I was suprised by how close the questions related to me. The questions were very easy to answer because they were very closely related to the things we have already done this year.

Action Script

As the year moves on we are preparing to start out game project. We will need to know many action script coding strings.

I think the minigame has helped prepare us for coding. Already I have memorised some lines of code that can be used in games. We will have to look up how to do certain things in our games on the internet.

I have found that the Adobe Comunity is a great place to ask questions about coding.

I look forward to completing our game.

Games for this year

I have recently read a game idea of another student. The game was about the enviroment and global warming. Durring the game the student will be taught about the effects of global warming and how to respond to it. I think the ame seems pretty cool and will efectivly teach the student how to make the right choices to help the enviroment.

I look forward to seeing the game in comletion.

First Nine Weeks

The first nine weeks are over and we are off to a great start!

We have learned some basic flash and have made a minigame. We have started work on our full game project. I cant wait to see our game in action

Teams In Globaloria

Today I we picked teams in class to work on our main game with. My team name is the QWERTY Keyboards. My team partner is Forest. Hopefully we will be able to come up with a pretty cool game by the end of the year.

This is my first completed flash game. For now the name of it is Metero Showers. The object is to stop the meteors from hitting Earth. If a meteor get past you you will loose 5 points. I think I am going to change it t three later. The only major promlem right now is that the game starts before you are ready which I will be fixing soon. All you need to do to play is use the arrow keys.

I think making this game has readied me for future games we will be making. I now understand the basics of action script and think I could make this game agian without any tutorial help.
